Dallas Auditions - So You Think You Can Dance Season 9

This state prides itself from being bigger, louder and better than anywhere else. Sounds like a perfect place to continue Season 9's talent search.

These are the Dallas Auditions!

Joining Nigel Lythgoe (executive producer) and Mary Murphy (Ballroom Expert) for the Texas trials is Crumping Choreographer LiL'C.

And first to represent is a local girl Bree Hafen:

Two seriously twisted individuals shocked the mood of the judges as they performed with each of their unique styles.
Here's Stepheon "The Zombie" Stewart from Katy, Texas who earned a ticket straight to Vegas with his extraordinary audition:

Hampton "The Exorcist" Williams from Richardson, Texas stole the limelight and the judges' souls?

And as the day went on Dallas continued to deliver. 5 dancers have earned tickets straight to Vegas, and after the choreography round 5 more will be joining them.

A new batch of excited dancers are getting ready to show their moves on the 2nd day of Dallas Auditions.

Daniel Baker originally from Australia wanted to move to the US and the only way to do that is to become a ballet dancer. He transformed himself into a ballet dancer and is now living in San Francisco California.

Hoping to impress the judges with his Lyrical freestyle is 21 year old Sam Shreffler from Lubbock, Texas. He made everybody dance with the move he created "The Ocean". He wasn't given the chance to go to the next round but he made the judges proud.

Von Kipper from Houston, Texas was tagged as someone who has a BAD ATTITUDE... what does he want?

Ready to Rock Jarell Rochelle from Huntsville, Texas decided to audition for his mom to see him on stage before she gets blind.

That was it for the Dallas Solo rounds.
And after the evening's choreography round, 7 more dancers are gonna be on the plane to Sin City.
